The use of Patagonia Online is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below. Please read them carefully. Your use of this website indicates your acceptance of these
terms and conditions. Your placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions complement existing consumer protections and does not supercede the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 within Australia or Australian Territories.
By ordering or registering on patagonia.co.nz you grant us the right to add your contact details to our database. From time to time we may contact you about offers and new products.
You can easily be removed by contacting our Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will remove you from marketing communications.
Usernames and Passwords
If Patagonia authorises you to register for or otherwise use online shopping, then you must keep your username and password (if any) confidential and not disclose it to any other person. Nor may you permit any other person to use that username or password (either for their own use or on your behalf).
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell.
Patagonia.co.nz reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. Patagonia.co.nz reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
All orders placed must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. Patagonia.co.nz does not accept orders from dealers, exporters, wholesalers, or other customers who intend to resell the products offered by Patagonia Online.
We reserve the right to refuse any order without giving reason. Upon cancellation of an order we will make all reasonable attempts to contact you using the details provided. All received monies will be refunded using the method received.
Product Disclaimer Reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic processes allow, however please note that product colours in-store may vary slightly from what is displayed on your computer monitor and may vary from monitor to monitor. Although listed on the website, some items, sizes, colours and styles might not be immediately available or temporarily or permanently out of stock. We aim to ensure that our website is accurate, however, sometimes errors occur, for which we apologise.
Payment & Security
You can be confident when shopping at Patagonia Online that all your personal and financial information is secured by industry standard 128-bit encryption.
Once registered you will be entitled to shop online and purchase products securely with your valid credit card, Pay pal account or other payment method. By submitting an order you represent and warrant that you are authorised to use the designated card or method of payment and authorise us to charge your order (including taxes and freight charges) to that card or payment method. If the card (or other method) cannot be verified, is invalid, or is not otherwise acceptable, your order may be suspended or cancelled automatically.
Your credit card information is not capture or stored at any time – not even temporarily. Patagonia Online does not have any access to your credit card information at any time and uses CAMTECH payment gateway which holds the highest level of PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) accreditation.
All references to $ and dollars on the website are to New Zealand currency. All prices were current at the time of publication on the website and are inclusive of GST.
We work to get your order to you as soon as possible. Most orders ship within one to two business days of the order being placed. Shipping time frames very for each location. Please note that weather, peak shopping seasons and shipping holidays can all delay the shipment of your order.
The delivery times provided by Patagonia.co.nz are estimates only. Patagonia.co.nz will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries. In the event that multiple items are ordered, part deliveries may be made where stock is not available. All reasonable attempts to notify you will be made using the details you provided.
Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address. Patagonia.co.nz cannot be held responsible for incorrectly entered delivery addresses.
Address Confirmation is given on the review page in the checkout section of the site. If this is not noticed until after your order is finalised, please contact Customer Service at email@example.com immediately.
We will attempt to update any incorrect order details, however due to the fast turnaround of our warehouse, some orders cannot be adjusted. In the case that your order is processed and cannot be updated, please refer to our returns and exchange section for more information.
Acceptance of the Goods
The buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods for fault and notifying us as soon as possible of receiving the goods should there be a fault.
Return of the Goods
We do not set a time limit on returns, though we ask that returns for fit or colour be made in a timely manner and that items be kept in new condition with tags attached. We accept both current season and discounted items for return.
Our online returns portals are open for 60 days from purchase. If the return is unable to be processed through the returns portal, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, who can assist with your return.
When items have been purchased from an authorised dealer please contact their store for return or exchange.
Can’t Find A Product
Not all of the products in the current season’s line are shown in our Online Store. If you can’t find something on the site, try using the Search, starting with a specific name or term. If the Search does not return the right match (or any at all), it could be that we do not make that product, or that it is not available for the season.
If you find a product on the site, but the size/colour you want is out of stock or not shown, contact one of our Patagonia stores (Store Locator) or our customer service team at email@example.com to find out if the item can be tracked down for you. We will do our best to locate the product in one of our stores. This service is free.

International Customs Charges
Some orders may incur a customs or import duty charge. Patagonia International Inc does not have any control over these charges or are unable to advise what they will be, as it is based on your own countries regulations & compliances. For further information, please contact your local customs office.
All charges are to be paid by the customer on delivery of order. Orders cannot be returned to sender and Patagonia International Inc will never pay these customs charges on your behalf. If you refuse to pay these charges your parcel may be abandoned and Patagonia International Inc will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence.
We cannot mark International orders as a gift in order to bypass or reduce any customs fees. This is an illegal practice and as an established business we will not do this.
All of the material on and in relation to the website is and remains the property of Patagonia International Inc at all times, or in the case of some material, a third party. You are not permitted to copy, reproduce, modify, transmit, post or distribute, whether electronically or otherwise, any material from the website.
Any other use of the website material constitutes a breach of Patagonia International Inc’s copyright and other proprietary rights. You may copy and email our webpage URL's to your family and friends for private and non-commercial purposes.
